New members of the PenCRU research team

PenCRU are very pleased to introduce Helen Hambly and Gretchen Bjornstad as new Postdoctoral Research Associates joining the team.

Gretchen completed her D.Phil. in the Department of Social Policy and Intervention at the University of Oxford in 2009. Her postdoctoral work has been focused on the evaluation, implementation, and development of evidence-based interventions for improving the health and well-being of children and families. She specialises in trials and systematic reviews of interventions. She also has experience working with children in residential treatment settings and as a family counsellor.

Helen has a MSc in Health Psychology and completed her PhD in 2014 with the Bristol Speech and Language Therapy Research Unit and the University of the West of England. Her previous research and interests include working children with speech, language and communication needs, listening to children’s perspectives and psychosocial outcomes of support.

We hope they will both enjoy working with PenCRU!
