Welcome to our Family Involvement Coordinator
While Katharine Fitzpatrick, our Family Involvement Coordinator, is on maternity leave, her role will be covered by Silvia Bortoli.
Silvia has a first degree in Psychology from the University of Padua (Italy) and a Masters degree in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she focused on health policy and health non-governmental organisations (NGOs). She has previously worked for several policy institutes and think tanks, and in her last job she worked on a project involving breast cancer patients in health service improvement.
Working with the Family Faculty was something that really drew Silvia to the role, and she’s looking forward to meeting existing and future members of the Family Faculty. If you’d like to meet Silvia, there is a project update meeting in Exeter on Thursday 27th April, or if you would like to talk at another time, Silvia would be happy to hear from you. Please do get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone 01392 722968.
Silvia has recently moved to Exeter from London, and is looking forward to exploring Devon and breathing some fresh air! In her spare time, Silvia also plays golf and loves cooking.
We hope she will enjoy working with PenCRU for the next year.
