The full title of the paper is:

Transition between child and adult services for young people with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD): findings from a British national surveillance study

This study surveyed transition between child and adult services for young people with ADHD over a period of twelve months. It found that 64% of reported individuals had a referral to an adult service accepted but only 22% of them were actually seen for an appointment in the adult service. Only 6% of cases received ‘optimal’ transition, which includes continuity of care, a period of joint care, planning meeting and a transfer of information.
