Improving Continence (ICoN) Study Recruiting Now!

The project has had a great response so far, with nearly 1500 people signed up to receive the survey! We are really pleased with this response and interest in the project. This will give us a really good range of responses from young people, parents, school and care staff and health professionals, about the support young people with special educational needs and/or a disability receive to help them with toileting. Although we’ve had a huge number of registrations, only around 50% of those who have registered, have actually completed the survey and submitted their responses to us. If you’ve signed up, please make sure you complete it! If you’ve lost the email, or you have had trouble accessing the survey, please contact us on icon@exeter.ac.uk and we can reset it for you.

We are still particularly keen however to hear from young people and school staff, as these groups have had the lowest response so far.

Are you a young person aged up to 25 with special educational needs and/or a disability?

Or

Do you have experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and disability, and/or toileting difficulties?

There is still time to sign up! Please register your contact details on our website http://sites.exeter.ac.uk/iconstudy/taking-part/, and you will be sent a personalised link to the survey.

To learn more about the survey please watch our short video https://vimeo.com/359251511.

The survey will remain open until the beginning of November, so get your responses in soon! Your views and experiences of toileting support is so valuable, and we want to hear what you have to say.
