PenCRU Staff News

We are pleased to congratulate Dr Chris Morris on his recently announced promotion to Associate Professor in Child Health Research. This promotion recognises his academic leadership for PenCRU and his success in bring in research grants and academic publications.

Chris said: “I am very pleased personally to be promoted, and so are my parents and family. Nevertheless I am proud of the work we have accomplished as a team at PenCRU over the past 9 years. I have been fortunate to work with some wonderful people and our fabulous Family Faculty. So I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to PenCRU.”

Chris has also recently taken on the role of Director of Postgraduate Research at the University of Exeter College of Medicine and Health. In this role he will manage the progress of around 180 students undertaking postgraduate research degrees.

The College of Medicine and Health was rebranded this year to be consistent with growing opportunities for studying across fields of Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health Professions. The college encourages enthusiastic potential students to review our taught Masters courses and our opportunities to study for postgraduate research degrees.
