Cranial osteopathy

This randomised controlled trial aimed to investigate the effects of cranial osteopathy on the health and wellbeing of children with cerebral palsy.

The Osteopathy for Children with Cerebral Palsy Trial (OCP Trial) examined the effectiveness of cranial osteopathy on movement, overall quality of life, sleep patterns, pain and fits in children with CP.

This trial was led by researchers from PenCRU.

The trial found that there is no strong evidence to suggest cranial osteopathy improves health or quality of life in children with cerebral palsy.
